In the 1960’s this style transitioned from military surplus to a countercultural symbol by way of the hippie movement. Our interpretation features 2mm certified recycled stainless steel for the wire frame, coupled with a Japanese wave motif engravings on the nose bridge, leg attachments, as well as inside the acetate temple tips. The legs are affixed with 3-barrel German steel hinges, coupled with discreet branding on the outer temple tips. This frame can be outfitted with prescription lenses by a licensed optician. Made in a family owned factory in Martignacco, Italy.
